Implant Dentures · Wilmington, DE

Implant-Supported Dentures in Wilmington, DE. Snap-In Teeth That Stay Put.

An implant-supported denture snaps securely onto two to four dental implants, so it doesn't slip when you talk, laugh or eat. It is one of the most life-changing treatments we offer at Wilmington Dental & Implants, and it can often be made from a new denture or by upgrading the one you already wear.

Snap-in denture or fixed bridge?

A snap-in (overdenture) clicks onto implant attachments and comes out at night for cleaning. It usually needs fewer implants and costs less than a fixed bridge. A fixed full-arch bridge stays in all the time and feels closest to natural teeth. We’ll show you both, with written fees, and help you choose. Learn more about All-on-4 full-arch implants.

Why denture wearers upgrade

  • No more adhesive or sore spots from a loose denture
  • A stronger bite, so you can enjoy foods you gave up
  • Clearer speech and more confidence when you laugh
  • Implants help preserve the jawbone that shrinks after teeth are lost

Starting from scratch?

If you still have failing teeth, we can remove them gently and place a same-day denture so you never go without teeth, then add implants when you are ready.

Clear pricing

Your consultation ends with a written plan listing the fee for each implant, attachment and denture. We accept most PPO plans, verify benefits for free and offer monthly financing. W Smile Club members save 30% on treatment.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common Questions

How many implants do I need for a snap-in denture?+

A lower snap-in denture often uses two implants; uppers usually need four. Your scan and bite determine the number.

Can my current denture be used?+

Sometimes. If it fits well and is in good condition, it can often be retrofitted with implant attachments. Otherwise we make a new one.

Do I take it out at night?+

Snap-in dentures are removed for cleaning and usually at night. Fixed full-arch bridges stay in.

How long until I can snap it in?+

Implants typically heal for a few months before the attachments are activated. You wear a denture throughout, so you're never without teeth.

Are implant dentures covered by insurance?+

Many plans contribute toward implants and dentures. We check your benefits at no charge before you decide.
