All-on-4 Full-Arch Dental Implants in Wilmington, DE. A Complete, Fixed Smile on Four Implants.

If you are missing most of your teeth, or living with a loose denture, a full-arch implant bridge replaces an entire upper or lower arch with fixed teeth supported by as few as four implants. At Wilmington Dental & Implants, formerly Dr. Herbert T. Casalena's office, every full-arch case starts with a complimentary 3D CBCT scan and a written, itemized plan.

What is an All-on-4 style full-arch bridge?

A full-arch bridge is a single row of natural-looking teeth that is fixed to four (sometimes five or six) dental implants. Because the back implants can be angled to use the strongest bone, many patients who were told they “don’t have enough bone” can still be candidates, often without extensive grafting. The bridge stays in. You brush and clean it like natural teeth and see us for professional maintenance.

Who is a good candidate?

  • Adults missing most or all teeth in an arch
  • Denture wearers tired of slipping, sore spots and adhesive
  • Patients with several failing or broken teeth who want one plan instead of years of repairs
  • Long-time patients of this office whose older bridgework is reaching the end of its life

Your 3D scan shows bone volume, nerve position and sinus anatomy, so we can tell you honestly whether full-arch implants, an implant-supported denture or another option fits you best.

What does full-arch treatment cost?

Across northern Delaware and the greater Philadelphia region, full-arch implant treatment typically ranges from about $20,000 to $30,000 per arch, depending on the number of implants, the bridge material and whether extractions or grafting are needed. That is a typical range, not a quote: your exact fee comes in writing after your exam and 3D scan. Read our full implant cost guide, and ask about W Smile Club member pricing and monthly financing.

Many patients come to us with a plan from another office. Bring it in. We will review your scan, explain each line item and show you our written plan side by side, so you can decide with confidence. See how a second opinion works.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common Questions

How many implants does a full-arch bridge need?+

Most full-arch bridges use four implants per arch; some cases use five or six for extra support. Your 3D scan decides.

Will I leave with teeth on surgery day?+

In many cases, yes: temporary teeth can be attached the same day when the implants are stable enough. We will tell you in advance whether that is planned for you.

How long does a full-arch bridge last?+

Implants can last decades with good care. The bridge itself may need maintenance or replacement over time, especially if you grind your teeth. A night guard and regular professional cleanings help.

Is it painful?+

Treatment is done with comfortable anesthesia. Most patients describe soreness for a few days that is managed with over-the-counter medication.

Does insurance cover full-arch implants?+

Many plans contribute toward implants up to the annual maximum. We check your benefits free and show what your plan pays before you decide.

What if I don't have enough bone?+

Angled back implants often avoid the need for major grafting. When grafting is needed, it is listed on your written plan.
